I just completed a lease assumption process on a BMW and they required full coverage (100/300) for my car insurance. What company do you buy disability and/or life insurance from? I want to purchase both disability and life insurance (preferably together) but I just don't know where to start. I search on the web but I've never heard of any of these companies so I have no idea if they are a scam or not. My spouse and I are both young and healthy with no kids, but I want disability insurance because I've seen what can happen to people when they don't have it, and life insurance because we both depend on each other's incomes. Also, what kind of screening can I expect to be subjected to for such insurance? I talked to one company and he was talking about a rep coming to my house for urine samples! Is that normal?

My friend has a 1.1 litre and his insurance is 1,200 with his dad on it. But when i look with exactly the same details (locked garage, mileage, etc) with my dad on it (i also entered my friends post code to see if there is a difference) but the cheapest quote has been 4400.
